Bonding with the Ball

The weekend was OK. Fri night we made lots of organic pancakes. Saturday I took 2 tween girls to DisneyQuest and EPCOT. We rode rides, played virtual reality games and shared 3 sushis and 3 desserts. Even better than the desserts, the hit of the whole day was purchasing a $10 light up bubble gun. Sunday was chores and helping my daughter buy her first pair of heels. (!)

Today was back to the gym. 22 mins on the Stairmaster level 7. Then a workout with some handweights and a big (Swiss?) ball. Thanks to an old tear-out from Women’s Health magazine I tried some new exercises with 7 and 10 lb hand weights:

Swiss ball pike with push up

Dead lift and bent over row combo

Pushup row with Core hold (counted as 30 sec plank)

Thruster

Sumo squat with curl

Dumbell press and core roll - I did this one wrong, woops. Forgot the press.

Row and back extension

Dead lift and bent over row combo - 2nd set

Pushup row with Core hold - 2nd set (counted as 30 sec plank)

Thruster - 2nd set

Sumo squat with curl - 2nd set

80 bicycle crunches

20 full situps with med ball

Then I got my twisting warrior pose on. Not exactly like this but close enough.

2010 goal update: 3724 crunches, 83.5 minutes of plank remaining.
