20 mins on Stairmaster, full body workout with med ball, large ball, band and small weights, then 5 mins on Stairmaster just for good luck.
I missed working out yesterday. Had to take my husband to the airport to fly up north for his grandmother’s funeral. She will be missed! Alice’s post about her passing is here.
In 2 weekends we have a family bat mitzvah. We need a Fri night dinner outfit and a Sat party outfit. Alice (DD1) went through my closet last night to give me ideas and pulled some cute stuff together I would not have thought of. She even added her own hot pink scarf to my little black dress and it looks adorable. I’m all set!
For some reason, my daughters are jealous of the kids at school who get ramen noodles in their lunchboxes. You and I both know that is not a healthy lunch. Totally nutrient defficient. But for a treat last night I took some homemade frozen chicken soup and defrosted it, cooked chicken breasts and veggies up in it, and then added ramen noodles (without the flavor packs). You would have thought I served ice cream sundaes from the looks on the girls’ faces! I pushed the easy button with that one! It’s back to whole grains tonight! Then Fri we’re having some girlfriends over and making a homemade Asian buffet and playing Wii. I’ll let you know how that cooking goes. Our ingredients list includes peanuts, shrimp, rice, lettuce, edamame, hoisin sauce, scallions, chilli powder and more! YUMMM!

i loooooooooove ramen noodles. well, loveD, i guess. now i’m allergic. :-/ yeah not the most nutritious but cheap and filling. i used to eat it as a snack after school (in middle school). gasp! good thing i was active and didn’t get too blubbery.
probably for the best that you don’t let them get hooked.
