June 29 workout

This morning my daughter starts a volunteer job, and she has to be there at 9am, so I had to shift my schedule. I got up at 6:30am and went right to the gym. I did a few sun salutations and then got on the treadmill.

5 min warm up, 15 min run.

Walking Pushup on the BOSU ball, squat/overhead press on BOSU with a 20 lb weight, chest press with band in a lunge position, quick set of squats with band, 1 set tricep dips on edge of bench - with 1 leg, ab side taps with 4 lb medicine ball (whimpy, I know, my arms were feeling it by then!), crunches on ball with legs on the wall -Great video here. (I tried these with ONE leg up on the wall for the first time Friday and that’s hard! I take them nice and slow, elbow to opposite knee.) I practiced my one arm plank on the ball, did a little one foot plank on the floor. Then knee raises on the captains chair and stretched. I should have thrown another 10 of cardio in there, but today I just didn’t. No excuse.

June 28 is officially the day of Juneathon I missed. 1 day a month ain’t half bad!

Julyathon is coming - get your biceps, triceps and chest ready!!
