This morning I went to the gym. 2 miles on the dreadmill. Then downstairs to do my pushups. But OH NO I forgot the sheet I had written my pushup schedule on. It was so early that no Mngr was at the gym, and none of the other employees get internet access, so they could not look it up for me. And if I had written down JUST day 1 I may have remembered it, but since I wrote the whole week down it was all jUmbLeD up in my head.
So… I winged it.
My sets should have been:
12 pushups - 60 second break - 17…13….13…max (at least 17)
But I did: 20…19…13…13…15
The sitting for 60 seconds in between made me feel like a dork (since I was at the gym). Normally I work different muscle groups in between but I didn’t want to do too much upper body stuff for fear of not being able to complete the pushups. Looking back I could have done lunges or squats. I did one set of side taps during the 1st 60 seconds.
After my pushups I did tricep extensions on the machine with 30 lbs. and 60 bicycle crunches. I think that was all today.
ALICE did her 2…3…2…2…5.5 pushups from week 1 day 1.
And now I am off to have Takara sushi with MJ at The Venue. Thank you MJ! In the morning I might not work out because I have my annual physical.
